Kings Head Open Mic

A new open mic night, at least for me, at The Kings Head, Woodbridge.

This one’s specifically spoken-word stuff. I don’t know how I feel about that. On the one hand it presumably means I’ll be able to hear myself speak, which will make a change after the last two gigs.

On the other, the stuff I do isn’t Wordsworth. I don’t think it wholly fits a dry, reverential atmosphere. But what do I know, I haven’t been the Kings Head in years. I’m going tonight and it would be nice to see you there.
